𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀’ 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 2024, 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀!

The 2024 Journalism Bootcamp has successfully come to an end in its two-day boot camp with the aim of sharpening and enhancing the talents and skills of the aspiring journalists with the theme, “Beyond the Headlines: Exploring Depths in Journalism" held at the ASQ Building on August 16–17, 2024.

Ms. Teresa Iguid, the first speaker, discussed the basics of news writing, followed by editorial cartooning led by the talented publication's cartoonists, Patrick James Ureta and Sean Eloid Dominguez.

On the second day, the speakers are Mr. Dennis Eudela for photojournalism, who talks about the introduction of photography and emphasized the importance of photojournalism, and Mr. Dennis Bontogon for sports and editorial writing, wherein he tackles different important aspects one aspiring sports writer and editorial writer would have.

To conclude each lecture, the guest speakers, as mentioned above, conducted a series of activities to test the participants' knowledge and abilities.
