Josh Lee B. Matorres creates podium finished in the 2nd Iloilo City Charter Day swimming Competition.

Milestone made by Josh Lee B. Matorres a Grade 9 student of Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC) after winning the Most Outstanding Swimmer in the 2nd Iloilo City Charter Day Swimming Competition in August 24-25 the competition was held at the Iloilo Sports Complex.

After the competition, Matorres receive collective of gold medals in some categories of the said event-100m Butterfly, 200m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley. Showcasing his talent and performance in the event was a great breeding of new blood as an NVCian athlete. Matorres also earned Silver and Bronze medal after that competition. Josh Lee B. Matoress a fourteen year-old only chid of Mr. Jojit I. Matoress and Mrs. Leslie B. Matoress— Matoress said “ They are my pillars of Strength. They are my guide and supporter whenever I have a competition” that all of his competition he offers all of it for his parents. Before the competition, Matoress was under pressure. But he also think that many people including his parents believe in him. Nevertheless, after the competition he felt relieved and his heart was full of happiness after being the podium finisher and awarded as the Most Outstanding Swimmer in the said competition.
